PRICE FURTHER REDUCED This is a neat miniature British naval caronade by long time distinguished miniature collector and maker Dr. General Paul Kopsch. Highly detailed and includes a partial deck and hull. Very detailed mount, deck planking, hull planking, ropes, bore rammer, and gun. The caronade measures 4 5/8" long, 5/8" at the muzzle, and has a .45 caliber bore. The base measures 8 3/8" X 8 7/16" and is about 3 1/4" tall. The gun is of machined brass. The front of the base mounted with a plaque which reads "LA CARONADA INGLESE DA 68 ,, 1776". Dr. Kopsch made this while on active duty in the army. This is absolutely the best miniature muzzle loading cannon I have ever seen. This is a British model 1871 cannon used in India made by Dan Storen. This is one of three Dan built and is serial number 2. Just unbelievable detail from all the cast brass hardware to the dished spoke wheels to the attention to details, fit, and finish.
