This is a great 1/3 scale Gatling gun. 26 3/4" tall to the top of the magazine. 17 3/8" long overall with five X" barrels of about .32 caliber. This is an early version of the Gatling that used percussion chambers that would have been preloaded with loose powder and ball with a percussion cap inserted on the nipple when the magazines were loaded. 100% fully functional and shootable if you can find some suitable caps. 24 machined brass percussion chambers are included as are two spare sheet brass magazines. Nicely made. The left frame rail and one of the walnut tripod legs stenciled CSA in white. The steel parts painted black. The brass parts finished natural. A perfect addition to complement you 1/6 scale Furr Gatlings. I haven't had time to take photos yet, so this is a photo of a 1/3 scale 1883 Furr Gatling, serial # 70, that I had a few months back. This is a 1/3 scale 1883 Gatling gun on carriage with the Accles drum magazine by the reknown Karl Furr in Utah. This piece is a true work of art. This magnifcient piece is chambered in .22 short rimfire and does shoot, up to 800 rounds per minute. As such, it must be shipped to a FFL dealer. Beautiful polished brass is starting to get a nice patina. The wood spokes and rims are a wonderful black walnut. The Accles drum holds 64 rounds. 18" diameter wheels. The barrel group 20 3/16" long, 10 .22 caliber rifled barrels 12 5/8" long. Built in the early to mid 70's, these are probably among the most popular miniatures ever made. Serial # 23. The piece is missing the braces from the axle to the trail and the crank handle is broken off. I've talked to Keith Furr and he is sending me the replacement parts to correct this. There is also a shallow dent or crease in the barrel jacket near the right front that does not effect the function of the miniature. I had a musical instrument repair shop try to remove the dent, but they said the brass was too thick for their equipment. This is not classed as a class III machinegun. If you can own a rifle, shotgun, or pistol, you can legally own this masterpiece in most states! Photos of the actual gun as soon as I get it repaired. Price: $9,500.00
