This is not a true miniature, but is rather a small full sized antique pocket or muff pistol made by reknown miniature maker John Maycock of England. Scroll engraved brass frame. Engraved brass grip showing flags, shields, and drums. Center hammer percussion action with fixed (as in non-folding) trigger. Fire blued fluted screw off barrel measures 15/16" long and is about .22 caliber. Overall length is 3 3/8". Engraved charcoal blue hammer with scales and eyes looks like a fish. Nicely cased in a walnut casing with an engraved push button latch and olive felt lining. Accessories include a ivory cap box, an ebony and brass powder flask, and an ivory handled steel bullet mold with sprue cutter. Additional photos available upon request. Price: $1,850.00

Here is a another neat 1/2 scale Southerner derringer by Ron DeWalt. 3 1/4" long overall with a 2" rifled 4mm barrel. Brass frame, blued steel barrel, fire blued screws. The hammer and trigger look to be nickel plated. Brass bead front sight. Two piece ivory grips. The top flat of the barrel marked SOUTHERNER. The left side of the barrel marked BROWN MFG. CO., NEWBURYPORT, MASS., PAT.APR.9.1869 in three lines. Cased in the original DeWalt glass topped walnut casing, French fit with red velour lining. Includes an ivory handled brass cleaning/extractor rod. Price: $895.00

This is a wonderful true antique 19th century miniature percussion muff pistol. 1 15/16" long overall with a 13/16" barrel with a square bore. These not only will shoot, but were commonly used as pocket watch keys. Nickel plated finish, modestly engraved, with great ivory grips. Has both half cock and full cock on the hammer. Presentation cased in a nice dark brown gutta percha case which may be a reproduction. The interior bottom of a dark blue velvet, the interior lid of burgundy velvet. The trigger has a loop where it could be attached to a watch chain. Excellent condition. The bottom tang with a bit of corrosion, otherwise excellent condition. This is a superb 1/3 scale side by side double barrel Queen Anne percussion pistol by master miniature maker David Kucer of Montreal, Canada. 2 3/64" long overall with 35/64" screw off barrels. Brass bag style grip and brass triggerguard. All steel parts finished bright. Fully functional with crisp locks. NIcely cased in an cocobolo case with wenge inlay The case with hinged lid and magnetic locks. Accessories include a great copper bodied powder flask, a brass handled steel cleaning/ram rod, a great combination bullet mold, barrel wrench, nipple wrench with sprew cutter, and a brass cap box. The interior bottom French fit with a burgundy velour. The lid lined with white silk with the Kucer double lion logo, marked D. Kucer, Montreal, Que., in two lines.

Here's a great 1/2 scale Colt No. 3 derringer by master miniature maker Daniel Osterman of Oregon. 2 7/16" long overall with a 1 1/4" long rifled barrel. Proper Colt marking on top of the barrel. Serial number 2 marked on the bottom of the barrel and only visable when the action is opened. The bottom of the grip frame marked D.E.O.+. Dark walnut two piece grips. Checkered hammer spur. Complete with the original Osterman manilla two piece lift top box with exterior lid label. The interior French fit with a gray velour. This is a neat 1/2 scale miniature Remington Model 1895 .41 calibre over/under Derringer by master miniature maker Daniel Osterman of Oregon. 2 7/16" long overall with 1 7/16" long rifled barrels. These are made from German silver and polished to a high finish that looks like nickel. Nicely checkered hard rubber grips, checkered hammer spur, functional extractor. Does not have a firing pin. Complete with the original Osterman green cardboard lift top box with the Osterman label on the inside of the box lid.
